How a small business idea made me richMany years ago, one small business idea flashed across my mind. It was during a time when I was down and out. With only $100 in the bank left, no job and no qualification. For survival sake, I had to create my own destiny. This idea came to me at the right time. To train youth to be entrepreneur.
With business partners, sole proprietorship is not something we want to go. At that point of time, to register a Private Limited, it will cost us about $2,000. We brainstorm for a while on ideas about starting the business with no money. We called up one company that has no direct competition with us, but is also in training. We offer a 20% of revenue to them provided they allow us to use their Company name to market our product. They took up the offer. That's how we started our business. We spend $20 to buy a printer ink to print our marketing collateral. With just $20, we are in business. After a first few training contracts we had clinched, we accumulated some money, we actually took over the whole company. This business has been my core business, generating my main source of income. Money should not be a challenge in starting a business. There are always solution when you start to think out of the box. Under desperation, just focus on solutions. You'll be surprise small business idea will start to appear before you. If I can do it, so can you.
